Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all! Our hackathon is open to both beginner and experienced coders. We'll have workshops and mentors to guide you along the way so that you can learn and get started on your project, so don't worry if you have experience or not.
Please bring your laptop, a charger, and anything else you feel you will need to succeed and create a meaningful project. Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day along with lunch.
Working with a team is not required; however, it's highly encouraged, as teamwork is what makes a hackathon fun! If you would like to be part of a team and aren't already, you will be matched with others in a team of up to 4 participants at the event.
Projects will be judged on four main criteria: creativity, technicality, relevance, and presentation. While we hope that you use these as a guide for your projects, we also want to emphasize that the most important aspect is having fun and learning new skills!
